Covington, St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, USA. Aging female getting no more attention from "potential rapists", decides to fake it for alternative attention. By simply playing the sexual assault victim, the authorities gave 62-year-old Dianne Kleyle the female attention she craved.
July 01, 2018. Police respond to a 911 call from a woman Dianne Kleyle who claimed to have been robbed and sexually assaulted at gunpoint. Covington police suddenly took to the public with her false claims before even trying to delve deeper into it. However, further interviewing her revealed she was inconsistent about the attack and the injuries she reported. The investigation also revealed her report details were not corroborated by the evidence collected at the crime scene.
July 03, 2018. fictim Dianne Keyle confessed that she made up the incident to seek attention. Police said she faces a misdemeanor charge for falsifying a police report and she will be issued a summons and released.
"We take all reports of crime particularly sex crimes very seriously” said Covington police Chief. "While we always believe a reporting person’s account first, we must also respect evidence that not only does not support the allegations but, as in this case, essentially refute the allegations.”
