July 08, 2010. Fictim Susan Wagers called police and falsely reported she had been raped in her home a few miles from Sevierville. Authorities launched an investigation as well as a manhunt for the male suspect she had described, with multiple officers searching in several areas in Sevier County. But No one was found
July 09, 2010. After an enormous amount of resources was expended on the fictim, Susan Wagers was re-interviewed by investigators and she admitted that her rape claim was false, a hoax.
July 14, 2010. Susan Wagers was held in the Sevier County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bond.
