London, England, UK. Fraudster and Conman falsely claimed his family was killed in the Grenfell Tower Inferno, in order to pocket about £12,500 from funds meant for real victims. He even got a photo op with Prince Charles while posing as a victim.

June 2017. After the Grenfell Tower disaster that killed 71, con artist Anh Nhu Nguyen presented himself as a victim claiming his wife and son were killed in the inferno. Nguyen was given a hotel room, clothing, food, electrical items, and money after pretending to be one of the survivors. He was even pictured beside Prince Charles and gave TV interviews.

About two weeks into his 'fictimhood' Nguyen was discovered to be a fake when he gave several different flat numbers in the tower, some of which did not exist and one where a real victim had lived. In fact, he did not live there but at another address in south-east London.

November 2, 2017. Southwark Crown Court. Mr. Nguyen pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud by false representation and one count of making an untrue statement for the purpose of obtaining a passport.

February 9, 2018. 53-year-old Anh Nhu Nguyen was sentenced to 21 months in jail. No emotional expressions
