November 22, 2018. Accomplice of Alvin Vazquez Cruz drives recklessly ignoring red light at a traffic stop. Consequently he caused a car crash hitting two other vehicles while Alvin was reportedly a passenger. They then left the crash site to avoid responsibility and later flagged down police patrol vehicle and reported that armed men hijacked their Honda Accord.
Investigation into the reported incident revealed the men had lied about the carjacking to cover-up their involvement in the traffic accident.
November 24, 2018. 24 year-old Alvin Vazquez Cruz was charged with falsely report an offense, a felony count of disorderly conduct. Alvin Cruz and his accomplice here are expected to post bond this weekend.
