Dundee, Polk County, Florida, USA. Too tired to get to work? Need a day off? No problem, simply make up a story of victimhood. That's according to the wisdom of Brian Anderson who called 911 and falsely reported a robbery attack on himself in order to skip work.

March 27, 2019
. Morning. Brian Anderson called the cops and reported being a victim of a robbery by two unknown suspects who took his money, necklace, and his cellphone which they eventually threw on the ground before hopping into a black Ford Crown Victoria and speeding away.

There was a prompt and heavy police response to the report, including Arial and K-9 team in search for a suspect. But it was Brian Anderson the "victim" himself who later became the suspect, after police learned that the robbery was fabricated.

Brian Anderson himself is said to have confessed that the report was a false alarm motivated by the restaurant employee's need to not show up for his work shift at 11:00am. Well then, it appears the fictim only ended up choosing between work and county jail.

March 27, 2019. Evening. 32 year-old Brian Anderson was arrested and charged with Misuse of 911 and Knowingly Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. No further information was released by the Polk County Sheriff's Office
