April 24, 2019. Late Afternoon. Otsiningo Park. Officers responded to a robbery report on 911 call placed by Zackary Pound. on arrival, the fictim claimed that unknown men forced him into a car at gunpoint and robbed him.
An investigation involving Broome County Government Security officers and New York State Police did not take long to reveal that this "was actually a marijuana drug deal gone wrong.", according to the Broome County Sheriff's office. Zackary Pound allegedly owed a drug deal money over several ounces of marijuana and that got him in the situation he faced. There was no evidence of any firearms used in the on the scene.
April 24, 2019. 18 year-old Zackary Pound was taken into custody and charged with giving false information to law enforcement. He will be arraigned in the Town of Dickinson Court at a later in May 2019. The Investigation continues.
