November 23, 2012. fictim Lynette Lee contacted Clarksville Police claiming that she had been raped by a named man she had met on MeetMe dating site.

Police apprehended the suspect and brought him for questioning. But the man denied any wrongdoing, admitting to police that he met Lynette Lee through the dating site but they both engaged only in consensual sex. In fact, they even made plans to continue seeing each other, according to the accused man.

November 27, 2012. Investigators did a follow-up interview with Lynette Lee who initially repeated her accusations, but then eventually changed her story and confessed to making a false report. She told a detective that she had lied about the encounter because she “did not enjoy it (the sex),” and it was “bad,” according to a statement released by Clarksville Police Department. She also wanted to withdraw the complaint but it was too late.

December 04, 2012. 27-year-old Lynette Lee was charged with filing a false report and held on $2,000 bond.
