Ellisville, Jones County, Mississippi, USA. Empowered woman takes malicious hypoagency to a whole new level, covering up her tracks and testing how a cop feels about her by alleging that another man sitting in a car with her had kidnapped and sexually assaulted her. The tested cop reacts rather professionally to the report, ending up with the liar herself in jail.

April 06, 2015. Abbigail Elizabeth Leggett, who already has a husband, was hanging out with an extra male she had met the previous week. After a night out, a cop pulled them over for a traffic violation. Abbigail Leggett who was the only passenger in the car recognized she knew the traffic cop on duty and secretly sent him a text message alleging that she was being held against her will. When the cop got her out of the car, she further alleged that the driver had sexually assaulted her prior to the traffic stop.

Following the report, what was supposed to be a routine traffic stop and at most issuance of a ticket, upgraded to full-fledged drama. The extra male was detained and held for over 48 hours.

During an investigation, however, Abbigail Leggett's lies were uncovered and a warrant was issued for her, while the innocent extra male was released without charges

April 08, 2015. 23-year-old Abbigail Elizabeth Leggett was arrested and charged with one count of false reporting of a crime.

“… These are charges we take very seriously. She made serious allegations and allegations like these can destroy someone’s life. This person was detained for two days and it could have destroyed his life if we didn’t find out it was false,” said an Ellisville Police Department investigator.

Why did Abbigail Leggett make these allegations out of the blue? two likely reasons: #1. She was cheating on her husband and did not want the cop to realize how much of a B***h she is - and that would only mean she gives a rat what the cop thinks. Which brings us to reason #2. She made the claims to see the cop's reaction and test if the cop cares about her. In the era of women empowerment where western women have absolutely no qualms sleeping around after marriage, I would go with #2
