August 01, 2017. A local resident called 911 and reported seeing an unconscious woman lying on the side of the road partially clothed with duct tape bound hands and feet. Marlborough Police and Emergency Services respond to the area and found a woman later identified as Amber M. Malagoli, seemingly unconscious, with duct-taped mouth. She was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital by Mobile Life Support Services.
While in hospital, Amber Malagoli regained consciousness and reported to detectives she had been kidnapped and raped and at the same time, she claimed she remembered nothing from the incident. However, she had no visible injuries as a result of the alleged attack, according to police.
During the investigation, State police officers found Amber’s car and secured it for forensic analysis recovering multiple pieces of evidence in Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties over a couple of days. With the assistance of Marlborough police, information was obtained on another ongoing investigation connecting Amber to the Milton area where she was found unconscious. With the new findings, Deputies confirmed that Amber Malagoli staged the kidnapping and rape.
Pussypass Denied!
August 03, 2017. 22-year-old Amber M. Malagoli, of New Windsor, was charged with felony criminal contempt and perjury. She was arraigned in Marlborough Town Court and booked in Ulster County Jail without bail.
