April 2017. Ashley Nicole Green reported that while she was unconscious, she had been sexually assaulted by three Sevierville police officers. It is not clear what she was earlier being arrested for.
Following the report, the acting district attorney requested assistance from the Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation. TBI special agents took months to thoroughly investigate Ashley Green's claims and eventually concluded in their findings report that the reported sexual assault did not occur. Consequently, recommendations were filed to the prosecutor's office.
January 22, 2019. 32-year-old Ashley Nicole Green, from Morristown, was charged with one count of false reporting, arrested and held on $7,500 bond. Watch this space
