Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, USA. Cocktail waitress vs Law-Enforcement. Alleged to be criminally-inclined in ice-trafficking with her hubby, Christine Cromer launched herself as a fake sexual assault victim against two state troopers in separate claims, seemingly as a diversion or retaliation for charges against her husband. But she fails.

November 2016. In a quest for a protective order against law-enforcement, Christine Cromer claimed that a sergeant forced himself on her and raped her in a police car parked behind Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino where she worked. She claimed it happened when she tried to break up with him, but the officer denied having had any relationship with her. In fact, the sergeant was at least 100 miles away from the casino when she claimed it happened.

That Notwithstanding, in a faked feeling of contempt that her allegations were not taken seriously, Christine Cromer took to campaigning for publicity of "rape culture", based solely on her own lies. For months, she posted flyers across the Wilkes-Barre and Scranton areas highlighting well-resonating falsities like "No justice for raped victim”... But these efforts did not do the trick for her...

September 2017. Christine Cromer launched herself as a victim yet again. This time, at another trooper, claiming that under similar circumstances that he sexually assaulted her. The trooper denied the allegation maintaining that, in fact, the only time he met Christine Cromer was when he interviewed her about the previous allegations she made against the other officer.

A thorough investigation revealed “many inconsistencies in her interview,” according to a female officer involved in the investigation. For example, Christine Cromer initially claimed she never had an intimate relationship with the trooper she accused, but later admitted to consensual sexual relationships. Christine also claimed to never have met the trooper away from the casino area, but later said she had gone to a mall with him in his truck.

November 2017. 37-year-old Christine A. Cromer of a suburb of Plains Township was charged with a misdemeanor count of unsworn falsification. There were “multiple and inconsistent stories (about the alleged assault),” said the prosecutors.

April 08, 2019. fictim Christine Cromer was offered a plea deal allowing her to receive concurrent jail time in the two cases, plus a separate charge of meth-trafficking which she already pleaded guilty to in a previous hearing. She had been given a two-year sentence in the Intermediate Punishment Program for that offense. She rejected the plea deal and opted to proceed to trial. However, a change of plea hearing is scheduled for later.

-- Update --

July 09, 2019. fictim Christine Cromer was sentenced to serve a minimum of 9 months and a maximum of 23 months in the Luzerne County Correctional Facility. “This wasn’t one lie,” ... “This was continuous lies,” said the female Assistant District Attorney who argued for the jail term, citing the impact the allegations had on the troopers’ personal lives and the damage such claims do to real victims of rape, according to a report by The Citizens' Voice.

It is not clear if after serving this jail term, Christine Cromer will again be sentenced for her involvement in narcotics trafficking. Highly unlikely so. Watch this space.
