February 2014. Cori Lynn Osiecki reported to police that she was sexually assaulted by a former boyfriend on January 31 and February 01, according to a probable cause affidavit.
Following the report, an emergency services vehicle took her to the hospital for medical examination and completion of a sexual assault. The results, along with other elements of the investigation did not support Cori's claims. The accused man also denied wrong-doing and was able to prove via communication with the fictim that she was mad at him for other reasons.
June 2014. In a follow-up interview with investigators,
Cori Osiecki confessed to police that she made up the rape allegations against her ex-boyfriend because she wanted to get back at him for spreading rumors about her, according to court documents.

Cori Lynn Osiecki was charged with filing a false police report. She remains free on $5,000 unsecured bail while awaiting court arraignment.
