Port Leyden, Lewis County, New York, USA. A young vindictive villager files a false rape complaint against a male, hoping that her age will save her from being prosecuted for lying. She was wrong.
April 05, 2010. fictim (false victim) Kayla M. Kelsey (AKA Cayla Kelsey, AKA Kayla M Weiler) contacted the 911 dispatch center to report a rape she alleged was committed by a named male acquaintance. When police responded, she gave a written report of the alleged rape.
Police questioned the man she accused but he denied any wrong-doing. An investigation, however, revealed that the male in question did not at any point victimize Kayla. When police asked her again about the reported incident, Kayla Kelsey confessed that she lied about the rape as revenge against the accused male.
April 10, 2010. 17-year-old Kayla M. Kelsey was charged with falsely reporting a crime and giving a false written statement. She was issued with appearance tickets and due back in Port Leyden Village Court at a later date, according to the Lewis County Sheriff's Office.
