Long Neck, Sussex County, Delaware, USA. Troopers respond to false assault report, Trooper gets assaulted. We often saw false domestic violence report specialists turn into harmless cats when the authorities arrive. See examples here, here, and here ; but not the aggressive Laurie Parkin who netted a slew of charges as a result.

August 31, 2019. Afternoon. Laurie Anne Parkin called the police and complained that her ex-husband assaulted her. Following the report, Troopers responded to the residence and as they met with her at the front door, she immediately became irrational and confrontational. According to the Troopers, Laurie Parkin appeared to be "under the influence". As a Trooper attempted to go inside the residence, she pushed the Trooper out of the doorway causing a scuffle. Laurie Parkin was not only uncooperative but she resisted law-enforcement and physically attacked the Trooper causing minor injuries.

Eventually, the fictim (false victim) was taken into custody. Hurray! but not so fast. Law-enforcement endured another tug-of-war with Laurie Parkin as she refused to be fingerprinted and photographed. That ended up with a slew of charges against her. According to delaware.gov, the charges are: Assault 2nd Injure a Law Enforcement Officer, Resisting Arrest Causing Injury to Law Enforcement Officer, Terroristic Threatening, Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts) - referring to her 2 children who were at home at the time she was violent and under the influence, Failure to Comply with Taking of Photos and Fingerprints, Falsely Reporting an Incident, Malicious Interference With Emergency Communications, and Disorderly Conduct.

Meanwhile, further investigation revealed that Laurie Parkin had attempted to file a false domestic abuse report against her ex-husband who was not even at the residence and had no contact with her on the day she made the complaint, which is the same day she claimed to have been assaulted.
