. Early morning hours. Isela Murillo told police that she was driving in her Nissan when a vehicle traveling west on an intersection collided with her and then fled the scene.
The responding officer took note. While he continued the investigation, a witness came forward and told him they saw a car driving in reverse on the street which Isela reported the hit-and-run perpetrator came from, but never saw any collision.
Another officer then checked further around the vicinity and noticed a damaged wooden utility pole that appeared to have been hit by Isela's car. As a result, a warrant was issued for Isela's arrest.
