If you need a reason to decry what's left of your faith in our #BelieveTheVictim culture, then look no further than this serial fictim who falsely accused a man of groping and forcibly kissing her. Even though this was not her first time using men as financial hostages on false claims, she was convicted to serve only TWO DAYS in jail.
One classic quality of a dishonest person is to be known by many names and aliases. In this case, Nichole Kristen Bowling, Nichole K Carlson, Nichole K Miller, Nichole K Bowling, Nichole Matelich, Nichole K Matelich, Nichole Kristen Miller, Nicole Miller, Nichole K Burgan, Nichole Kristen Carlson, Nichole Burgan, Nichole Miller, Nichole K Rowling, etc. For this entry, we'll just call her Niki Burgan.
May 20, 2018. Niki narrated a story to police which was also reported by the media, that in the late hours of May 13, 2018, a man approached her in a bar and offered to buy her drinks which she accepted. She spent hours drinking and talking with this man until the early morning hours of May 14, 2018, when he grabbed her by the nape, pulled her toward himself, and kissed her. According to Niki, she pushed him away but did not report the incident immediately, because the man was an "influential figure" and she "feared she would not be believed". That sounds like a familiar excuse.
Following The Coast News report of her claims, Niki had a subsequent interview with NBC7 San Diego in which she claimed the man also grabbed her hand and placed it on his "crotch". When asked by The Coast News about her variation of accounts, she blamed it on a car accident earlier in the month.
As Nichole Burgan's inconsistent accounts of the incident aroused suspicion, reporters did the responsible thing they should have done before going live with her fake story, some background check. They dug up civil and criminal court records and found nearly a dozen restraining orders with Niki's name, several filed by her and others against her. Some were under harassment, stalking and perjury including a false child abuse report she made against her ex's partner.
Niki had also untruthfully claimed to be a victim of false imprisonment and repeated battery in an allegedly abusive relationship with another ex-partner. The court documents also reveal a pattern of fictimhood (false victimhood) in Niki's life which only reveals her as a seasoned liar. People who know her have commented on how irresponsible she is, going as far as living off of men including at least four husbands and numerous boyfriends.
However, amidst all the dirt findings on Nichole Burgan's fictimhood and fraudulent tendencies, the nail on the coffin was the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department investigation into her sexual assault allegation against her latest male victim. After reviewing video surveillance showing inside and outside the bar where Niki claimed the assault had happened, and interviewing several witnesses, the investigation completely disproved Niki's version of events. This fictim lied to derail a man's political ambitions and she succeeded. But what's the punishment for her actions?
June 14, 2018. Charges were filed against Nichole (Niki) Burgan by the District Attorney and she was arraigned on July 3, 2018, charged with a single misdemeanor count of filing a false report, which carries a maximum sentence of six months in jail and/or a $1,000 fine. But as usual, she's highly unlikely to get a fair slice of justice for wittingly destroying a man's life.
February 05, 2019. After having pleaded not guilty in 2018, Nichole Burgan represented by her attorney finally withdrew her not-guilty plea and flipped to a guilty plea to the misdemeanor charge of filing of a false police report. Nichole Burgan has been found guilty but if you were hoping to not see this liar again for a while then you're about to be disappointed. Nichole Burgan was sentenced to only 2 days in jail. That's right, NOT two years, NOT two months, NOT even two weeks but TWO DAYS which were cherry-picked: Feb 23rd and a Day after the International Feminist Day. Pussypass Granted! but even then, Nichole Burgan broke down in croc tears hoping for even more leniency.
The man she destroyed with her lies was told by feminocentric judge Von Kalinowski “I know it’s not the penalty you’d hope to see but I have to weigh the crime against the fact she doesn’t have a criminal record.”, The Coast reports. Apparently, judge Von Kalinowski does not seem to know or care how many court documents carry this serial fictim's name let alone give a rat how many male lives Nichole Burgan has exploited/destroyed, let alone her other scams. That's like saying "Hello male victim, suck it up and move the F on". What a disgrace to the justice system of this country.
Now, imagine a man who never had a criminal record standing in the same dock as Nichole Burgan did, trying to defend himself on a sexual assault charge. Imagine if the judge ever reflects on their previous criminal record before sentencing them. CJ, a young man who never had so much as a speeding ticket, was facing a life sentence if he was convicted on the lies of his ex GF here. So much for "equality"
The so-called judge who sentenced Nichole Burgan garnished the extremely lenient verdict with 3-year probation, $655 fine, 10 days public work service (community service) and mental health evaluation, adding a 90-day jail term if the probation conditions are violated. In other words, this fictim gets to walk in yet another sad day for humanity. Watch this space
