Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA. Rape fantasist, attention ****e, and hoaxer reported an elaborately feigned rape fictimhood (false victimhood) story to cover-up the real reason why she missed work.

February 11, 2014. fictim Alexandra Westover told officers that while she was struggling with a flat tyre at the side of the Florida Turnpike, a white man in a white vehicle suddenly pulled over and asked if she needed help. The man then allegedly asked for a sharp object to pry the hubcap loose. When she opened her passenger door and leaned in to get the tools requested by the man, he attacked, shoving her from behind and sexually assaulting her in the car.

Even though Detectives were reportedly suspicious of the woman's tale of a rush-hour rape, Crime fighters still launched a full-scale search for the suspect, The Florida Highway Patrol reviewed hours of security footage from the area but couldn't find images Westover's vehicle anywhere around the area. This task wasted more than 100 man-hours before Alexandra, through her father, finally confessed that the story was indeed a hoax, according to a sheriff's office statement.

A deputy followed up the led from her father and Alexandra Westover herself admitted that she lied because she didn't want to get in trouble for skipping work at her great-uncle's house, according to a report by the Orlando Sentinel.

February 13, 2014. 21-year-old Alexandra Westover was arrested on a charge of falsely reporting a crime and a misdemeanor perjury count. She was released the next day on her own recognizance. Watch this space
