New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Ambitious woman with a big lifestyle goes for the jackpot insurance payout through fake carjacking victimhood. NOPD arrest her before the ruse could fly.

July 18, 2021. Around midnight, Kaitlyn Creshon reported to police that she was carjacked near the intersection of Mirabeau and Cartier. Using the report, she quickly initiated insurance affidavit in the Third District. According to the NOPD (New Orleans Police Department), After further investigation, detectives determined that Creshon filled a false report to commit insurance fraud.

July 21, 2021. 30-year-old Kaitlyn Creshon was arrested and charged with filing a False Affidavit and filing false public records.
