Belvidere, Illinois, USA. Sabrina Andrews made a false report of a gunman and death threats which forced the lockdown of 4 schools and detention of a male suspect.

September 20, 2018. liar Sabrina Andrews reported that there was a man threatening to shoot a child near Belvidere South Middle School. The report triggered panic in several schools forcing a lockdown. Police initially did not find any suspects around the school areas but later detained a man near his home in Rockford.

During the investigation, evidence emerged that determined that Sabrina Andrew's report was a fabrication. MyStateline.com also reports Eyewitness News spoke with Andrews at the scene on Thursday while parents waited for police to release their children from the lockdown. Sabrina herself was laughing among the waiting and worried parents. Sabrina Andrews claimed her mother made the initial call to police after her ex-boyfriend had threatened to shoot her brother.

September 21, 2018. The Belvidere Police Department announced 20-year old Sabrina Andrews was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct for filing a false police report and transmitting a false threat of violence against a person at a school while the school was in session. She is currently in the Boone County Jail in lieu of $20,000 on a 10 percent cash bond.
